A new old stock F Bachschmid automatic from I assume the late 1960s/early 1970s given the styling and the movement employed within. I believe that this company actually produced pocket watches originally during the latter part of the 19th Century. As to their status/ownership at the time this watch was made I am uncertain. Classic early 70s styling with an attractive dial and a decent Swiss movement to boot.

Movement: ETA 2783 automatic with 25 jewels; 21,600 bph; quickset date; non hacking; manual winding capability.

Case: Stainless steel; diam. 38mm; thickness 11mm; lug width 18mm; polished finish; polished bezel; polished screw down case back; acrylic crystal; marked 'waterproof'.

Dial: Blue sunburst dial with pattern radiating from 6; applied silvered indices with black to the tops; polished silvered/black hands with luminous fill;.

Strap: Calf leather strap with alligator grain and stainless steel buckle.

Other: Case in new old stock condition with some very minor hairlines from handling - 98%; crystal in 99% condition; dial in overall 99% condition; watch is running fine; quickset date operating correctly; check and service recommended for NOS watches.
